Welcome to the only blog written from rural Haiti! After graduating from college in 2005, I spent a year volunteering in Fondwa, a village of 8,000 peasants located high in the mountains of southern Haiti. I was the Secretary of the University of Fondwa, Haiti’s first and only rural university. This blog is intended to shed light on some of the positive change that Haitians are working to bring to their country. Come along for the journey!

hello - just found your blog - i was in fondwa back in march '05 for the day - we've adopted 3 from haiti & on that day, i was there with our facilitator barbara walker/reach out to haiti - we're from noblesville, IN & love haiti - we've been there several times & will continue to go back many more
